Herbs that can rejuvenate the skin of the face

Herbs are present in many store-bought cosmetics, but in this case they do not retain their beneficial properties for long. For this reason, purchased creams and masks are less effective after a while than they were when purchased. You can also use the herbs of the face in their natural form, you can make decoctions, infusions, and masks from them at home.

Dandelion

In cosmetology, dandelion has long been used for facial skin in anti-aging procedures. The plant also helps with dermatological problems, it can help you get rid of freckles and whiten your complexion. The plant contains rubber substances, vitamins A, B, C, E, PP, organic acids, resins, sterols and saponins.

The most effective cosmetic procedures for facial rejuvenation are those that use dandelion masks and cosmetic ice.

  1. Anti-aging mask. To prepare the mask, you need to take 5 ml of dandelion juice, 1 avocado, 5 grams of starch. Mash the avocado and then mix all the ingredients together. The resulting mass should be applied to a previously steamed face, left for 30 minutes, and then rinsed with cold water. The mask can be applied to the face 2 times a week. After several uses, deep and small wrinkles on the skin are noticeably smoothed out, the texture of the face becomes more elastic.
  2. Cosmetic ice. To prepare the product, you need: 10-15 ml of dandelion juice, 50 ml of distilled water, 5 ml of hazelnut oil. All the ingredients must be mixed, poured into molds and put in the freezer. You should wipe your face with the prepared cubes, it is advisable to do this in the evening, the skin of the face should first be cleaned of make-up. The procedure must be carried out in 10-day sessions, and the duration of treatment should not exceed 3 per year.

Rosemary

Rosemary can easily replace any lifting agent, as it contains the HSP70 protein, which can slow down aging processes at the cellular level. In addition, the plant contains tannins, fatty acids, vitamins and trace elements that can heal and rejuvenate the skin.

Rosemary is most often used in the form of essential oil, which can be purchased at most beauty stores and pharmacies. To make cosmetics at home, you have to grow the plant yourself, as it is rarely found on the shelves of stores and pharmacies in its natural form.

  1. Rejuvenating mask. To prepare the mask, mash half a banana, then add 50 ml of avocado oil and rosemary infusion or decoction. The amount of decoction or infusion should be calculated, taking into account that the finished mask should have a consistency similar to thick sour cream. The product can be applied to the face 2-3 times a week, after which the skin becomes more elastic and wrinkles are smoothed out.
  2. Decoction. To prepare the decoction, take 20 grams of dry rosemary leaves, pour 200 ml of boiling water and place in a water bath for 15-20 minutes. The finished concoction must be filtered before use. Take 50 ml twice a day.
  3. Infusion. The product is prepared from 50 grams of plant leaves, which must be poured with a glass of boiling water and infused for 3-4 hours, it is advisable to do this in a thermos or to wrap the infusion container in a warm place. After the prescribed period, the infusion must be filtered.

Important!Rosemary decoctions and decoctions can also be used as poultices or used to make cosmetic ice.

Chamomile

Chamomile contains many vitamins, trace elements and organic acids that are valuable for the body. All this together helps to rejuvenate, hydrate and whiten the skin, making it firmer and more elastic. In cosmetology, the most effective results can be achieved with chamomile decoctions and infusions.

  1. Decoction. To prepare the product, pour 25 grams of dried chamomile flowers with a glass of warm boiled water and place in a water bath for half an hour. The finished broth must be filtered and, if necessary, diluted with boiled water. The product should be wiped on the face and décolleté. After use, the wrinkles on the face are noticeably reduced and smoothed.
  2. Infusion. To prepare chamomile infusion, pour a tablespoon of dried and crushed plant into a glass of boiling water and let it stand for half an hour. The finished product must be filtered and, as in the previous recipe, the skin of the face must be wiped.

Sage

The use of sage for cosmetic purposes helps to clean your facial skin and preserve its youth for a long time. The plant contains anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic substances, which is why sage is so widely used in cosmetology.

  1. Infusion on the face. The finished sage decoction can be used as an additive to body care or tonic, and can also be used in the form of poultices and face care. To prepare sage infusion, pour 3 tablespoons of dry raw material with a glass of boiling water and leave in a thermos for 2 hours. The resulting infusion should be cooled, filtered, put in the refrigerator and used as needed. You can make cosmetic cubes from this infusion - pour it into molds and put it in the freezer, wipe your face with it in the morning and in the evening.
  2. Decoction. The sage decoction has an effective effect on the facial skin, rejuvenating and toning it. To prepare it, pour three tablespoons of sage with boiling water and cook on low heat for another 15 minutes. The resulting product must be cooled, filtered and washed with it once a day.

There are many herbs in nature that can be effectively used for cosmetic purposes. The point is to do it right, so that the plant used does not harm, but brings maximum benefit from its use.
